ASEM was founded in 1979 in northern Italy. From the beginning, the company was involved in the design and manufacture of computer-based automation systems. In 2020, the company passed entirely into the hands of the Rockwell Automation Inc. group. It offers industrial computers and HMI panels. Production takes place at modern facilities near Udine. Also here, motherboards for industrial computers are manufactured, which is worth noting because it is one of the very few places in Europe where these components are produced. This allows ASEM to guarantee very high product quality and availability. Unlike with Far Eastern manufacturers, older designs are also still available for many years. In the industrial automation industry, such stability of supply is much appreciated by customers.
